Overview

TC818 has a 24V/4A DC output and is mainly used in tension systems with magnetic powder clutches or magnetic powder brakes. It supports manual control, semi-automatic roll-diameter tension control and full automatic closed-loop tension control.

Manual, Semi-Automatic and Automatic Control

Manual tension control adjusts excitation current according to winding or unwinding roll diameter. Roll-diameter control automatically detects roll diameter and adjusts output according to target tension and measured diameter. Full automatic control measures actual web tension and uses PID calculation to adjust output for high-precision tension control.
